Andreas Huttenrauch Biography

A little about me (in third person)

Systems Programmer turned Web Developer, Andreas Huttenrauch has over two decades of IT experience. His unquenchable thirst for knowledge and on-line lifestyle makes him a fountain of cutting edge information. Andreas has worked in a wide variety of industries; and worked on simple PC systems to global client server and ERP packages.

His broad experience and long-time involvement with end-users puts Andreas in excellent standing to design functional web sites and Internet solutions that are geared at productivity and usability.

He is an experienced information technology professional with a 21 year record of tendering technical solutions to business problems. He has proven project management expertise directing human / material resources, daily operations and technical requirements.

Career highlights include working as a senior consultant for Deloitte & Touche as well as other Big-5 competitors, and has successfully run his own web design firm for over 10 years.

Some of the major companies Andreas has had the privilege of working with include Husky Energy, Trans Canada Pipelines, Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, Hard Rock Hotels, Marriott, Radisson, and many others.

Schooling was mainly done in South Africa including a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. As for business and professional tutelage, Andreas has learned directly from some of the industry's greatest in Canada and the US, including Chet Holmes, Jay Conrad Levinson, and T Harv Ecker.

He is a certified project manager and proven leader, however prefers the romance of the road of an independent contractor.
